He Who Shall not be Named

You know who I'm talking about, don't you? The so-called leader of the free world. The supposed person with the moral authority to lift this nation up as one. The individual who has the ability to shape America in any direction he chooses. Ok, now you know who it is.

So, in the wake of two-and-a-half years at the helm our democracy has rarely been at such risk of collapse. Four mass murders, at least two by avowed white nationalists who have echoed the president's words (who he echoes from Fox & Friends) in their manifestos online.

His language targets people of color, and immigrants, and in his disingenuous speech by teleprompter following the El Paso and Dayton massacres could not in any way acknowledge that his rhetoric needs to be reshaped away from the divisiveness that it embodies.

Hw blames violent video games when those games are just as popular in other countries that don't see the mass murders that we have in this country. How about mental illness? No evidence that these killers have compromised mental health, just hate.

How about banning the weapons of mass destruction? Weapons of war. Do what it takes to stop this madness. Blaming immigrants from Central America and Mexico is the fear-mongering path he chooses to bait his supporters with as other demagogues have done so adeptly with the results being the oppression or worse of those in their crosshairs.

Impeachment is teetering, and a likely non-starter with many democrat leaders in the House, although it's gaining steam. There are many of us who are 'woke.' Yet it will likely take votes to rid us of him in the next election. Higher-power help us if he manages to remain in office.
