DARK SHADOWS HOVER will be released on November 25 to coincide with Bosnia Statehood Day. This annual recognition marks the day in 1943 Bosnia and Herzegovina was deemed to become a republic in the Yugoslav Federation by the Anti-Fascist Council for the Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the time, Josip Broz Tito's Partisans were waging war against the Nazi invaders and their collaborators. This was the first meetin of the Council as the Partisan army was growing strength, with many ordinary people joining the liberation movement.
In DARK SHADOWS HOVER, the true-life story of Moris Albahari is depicted. It is a fascinating saga of an adolescent and the hardships and triumphs he faced as a Partisan. The link below will take you to the Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation website posting of an article about Moris, which I contributed.
